As someone who is naturally very pale and doesn't tan naturally, spray tanning was always something that has made Erin feel more confident and sexy in her own skin. But more importantly, after seeing several friends battle melanoma, she knew she had to take action toward preventing women from laying in tanning beds.
Long before Erin launched Blend, she had quite a few spray tans on the other side of the gun. The first one was in a booth - it was a disaster. Others were in salons and suites, and while the technique of the artists was absolutely wonderful - she often left stinky, sticky, and not quite sure what to do afterwards.
When it came time to plan her own spray tan business, Erin knew she wanted to get certified and perfect her technique - of course! But she also envisioned an elevated experience. Only the highest quality products and ingredients - organic and natural when possible - and never smelly. Erin knew she didn't want her clients to leave with that "wham bam thank you ma'am" feeling - so she takes the time to talk them through everything, hand blend when needed, and end with a gorgeous, glowy, smell good-y finishing powder.
